CURRICULUM-THE GOLD STANDARD
ABC Greater TN Chapter provides the Department of Labor approved Mike Holt Electrical curriculum. Mike Holt Enterprises, has been serving the electrical industry for over 40 years, creating and publishing books, DVDs, online training and curriculum support for electrical trainers, students, organizations, and electrical professionals. We also utilize the DOL accredited NCCER curriculum for our other trades. Upon completion, you will receive a ABC Greater Tennessee Construction Trades Academy certification. MISSION To build a safe, productive and sustainable workforce of craft professionals VISION To be universally recognized by industry and government as the training, assessment, certification and career development standard for construction and maintenance craft professionals

This curriculum is taught in a classroom setting by instructors that are currently practicing their trade in the field. FUTURE ADVANCEMENT
Our employers believe in the merit shop philosophy, which encourages open competition and the free-enterprise approach that awards contracts based solely on merit. That means they promote biased upon merit and they don’t rely on seniority as must union based shops do. Did you know over 83% of the construction industry workers choose not to work for union shops!
