about the training
Our apprenticeship program provides comprehensive instructions in both sheet metal fabrication and installation. On the job, apprentices learn the basics of pattern layout and how to cut, bend, fabricate, and install sheet metal products. In the classroom, apprentices learn drafting (CAD), plan and specification reading, trigonometry and geometry applicable to layout work, welding, the principles of heating, air-conditioning, ventilating systems, and air and water balance.
Must be 18 years of age or older. (An official birth certificate must be presented at the time of application.)· All applicants must have a High School Diploma, or equivalent.· Applicants must provide all high school transcripts.ADDITIONAL INFOIf you like to build things, a job in sheet metal maybe right for you.
